A     1U-6396     O-Ring Assembly Compound     1    Note: O-rings, gaskets and seals should always be replaced. A used O-ring may not have the same sealing properties as a new O-ring. A reconditioning procedure should not be degraded because of a low cost component such as an O-ring or a gasket. Use Tooling (A) during the assembly procedure.
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Position alternate pattern control valve (4). Install bolts (5) .
Connect eight hose assemblies (3) to alternate pattern control valve (4). Make sure that each hose assembly is connected to the proper port. The position of each hose assembly should have been identified prior to the removal of alternate pattern control valve (4) .

Install support assembly (2) and install bolts (1) .End By: Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Air Cleaner - Removal and Installation".
