A 1P-0510 Driver Gp 1 Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, thoroughly clean all parts in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Do not use wiping cloths or rags to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement. Dirt and other contaminants can damage the precision component. Perform assembly procedures on a clean work surface. Keep components covered and protected at all times.

Use Tooling (A) to install seal (22).

Install bearing cover (24) and taper roller bearing (23) on pinion shaft (20).

Install pinion shaft (20).

Use Tooling (A) to install roller bearing (21).

Install half collar (19).

Install thrust washer (18), needle bearing (17), planet gear (16), and thrust washer (15).

Install pin (13) in carrier assembly (5). Install new spring pin (14). Repeat with the remaining pins (13).

Install sun gear (4) in the same orientation that was noted in the disassembly procedure.

Install thrust washer (12). Install thrust washer (11), needle bearing (9), planet gear (8), thrust washer (7), and retaining ring (6).

Install carrier assembly (3).
