Information:

The Engagement Pressure Calibration screen will display the parameters necessary for calibration. Follow the instructions on the screen to step thru the process. The setup calibration conditions must be met before proceeding with the calibration process.
Operate the transmission until the transmission oil temperature is within the range listed in the calibration conditions.Note: Stall mode can be used to warm the transmission (if enabled in the customer controls).

Install a pressure gauge (Service Tool (A) ) on the pressure test port for the clutch listed on the calibration screen. See Illustration 4 for test port location.
Place engine speed control at low idle.
Shift the transmission into "Neutral" gear.
When all calibration conditions are met, the "Next" button at the lower left corner of the screen will turn from gray to black. Click "Next" to start the calibration process.
The calibration process will raise the engine speed automatically. And the display will show "Calibrating".
Compare the pressure gauge reading to the required clutch pressure shown in Cat® ET. Use the arrows at the bottom of the screen to increase or decrease the electrical current command to the valve until the gauge reading and the required clutch pressures match. Note: Some clutches are designed to operate at a pressure equal to main relief pressure. If during calibration, a clutch cannot be adjusted to meet the required pressure, install a second pressure gauge on the (7) Transmission Supply Pressure Test Port (for main relief pressure). Check to see if the pressures are equal. If both pressure readings are equal, adjust the current to the lowest percentage that still maintains equal pressure.
To move to the next clutch, press the "Next" button. The pop-up screen will return, and the next clutch can be selected from the list.
Repeat the process (test step 3 to test step13) for all planetary clutches and the lockup clutch.
Once all clutches are completed, Cat® ET will indicate that the calibration is successful, and the procedure may be exited. Cat® ET Error Codes
When the calibrations are performed, Cat® ET error codes can occur. These error codes are displayed in pop-up screens within the calibration screen. Possible error codes are listed below:

Error Code     Description     Possible Causes / Recommended Actions
0001     ECM fault     Problem with ECM. Check that the correct flash file is loaded into the ECM.
