Install ball (35), spring (36), retainer (37), and retaining ring (38) into spool (33).

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Install spring (21), spring (22), retainer (23), and retaining ring (24) onto spool (20).

Install slug (28) and spring (27) onto spool (25).
Position valve assembly (11) and pin (26), as shown. Pin (26) must be clear of the bore for spool (25).
Install slug (28), spring (27), and spool (25) into valve assembly (11).
Use a suitable screwdriver in order to depress spool (25) into the bore of valve assembly (11).
Use a soft faced hammer in order to drive pin (26) into valve assembly (11).
Remove the screwdriver that is depressing spool (25).

Install spacers (30) into piston (29).
Install slug (34), spool (33), spring (32), spring (31), piston (29), and spacers (30) into the original locations in the bore of valve assembly (11).

Install spool (15) and spool (40) into the original locations in valve assembly (11).
Install stop (14) and stop (39) into the original locations in valve assembly (11).

Install spool (20) and spring (19) into the original locations in valve assembly (11).

Install the O-ring seals and the cover onto valve assembly (11). Install bolts (13). Tighten the bolts (13) to a torque of 30 7 N m (22 5 lb ft).

Install plate (12) and valve (11) into the original location on valve (44).

Install oil manifold (6). Install bolts (9). Tighten bolts (9) to a torque of 30 4 N m (22 3 lb ft). Install plug (10) and nipples (8).

Install oil manifold (2). Install harness assembly (7) onto oil manifold (2). Tighten bolts (5) to a torque of 30 4 N m (22 3 lb ft).
Install the bolts for the clamps and harness assembly (7).
Install cartridge assembly (4) to oil manifold (2). Tighten the cartridge assembly to a torque of 50 5 N m (37 4 lb ft).
Install the coil assembly, the washer, and locknut (1) onto cartridge assembly (4). Tighten locknut (1) to a torque of 9 0.5 N m (80 4 lb in).
Connect harness assembly (3) to the clip.
Repeat Steps 24 through 26 for the remaining solenoid valves. End By:
Install the transmission hydraulic control valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Transmission Hydraulic Control Valve - Install".
