1. Put identification marks on wires (1), (2) and (3) as to their location on the alternator. Disconnect the wires from the alternator.2. Loosen lower adjusting bolt (7) and the nut.3. Remove belt (6) from the pulley on the alternator.4. Remove lower adjusting bolt (7) and the nut. Remove bolt (4) and alternator (5).5. Remove the drive pulley from the alternator. The following steps are for the installation of the alternator.6. Reinstall the drive pulley on the alternator. Tighten the nut that holds the pulley to a torque of 102 7 N m (76 5 lb ft)7. Install the alternator in the reverse order of removal.8. See the Operation & Maintenance Manual for further details regarding servicing of the belt.
