The Cat® Object Detection software ( 393-1885 Monitor Software Gp , 440-2672 Monitor Software Gp , and 422-2860 Monitor Software Gp ) allows the Side Radar to be disabled by anyone without notifying the operator using Cat® Electronic Technician (Cat ET).Solution
This functionality should only be used when installing a two radar/two camera system. The left and right-hand radars should not be set to uninstalled, if the radars are installed on the machine.A software update that will address this issue is scheduled to be released in the first quarter of 2014.
