Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the engine enclosure.
Hot engine components can cause injury from burns. Before performing maintenance on the engine, allow the engine and the components to cool.

Attach a suitable lifting device to muffler assembly (1). The weight of muffler assembly (1) is approximately 30 kg (66 lb).
Remove clamps (2).
Loosen clamp (3). Remove muffler assembly (1).Installation Procedure
Install muffler assembly (1) in the reverse order of removal.
Ensure clamp (3) gap is not aligned with the slots in the tube assembly. Tighten clamp (3) to a torque of 47 5 N m (35 4 lb ft).End By:
