YES - There are no duplicate serial numbers. Proceed to Test Step 4.
NO - Repair: Replace the affected device.STOPTest Step 3. CHECK THE FUNCTION INSTANCE
Use the "Software Versions" menu in order to verify that the components are installed in the proper location.Refer to System Operation, "Configuration Menu" for additional information.Results:
OK - The function instances are correct. Proceed to Test Step 4.
NOT OK - The function instances are incorrect.Repair: Install the components in the proper location. If the components are in the correct location, check the wiring.STOPTest Step 4. CHECK THE HARNESS FOR AN OPEN
Turn the key start switch and the disconnect switch for the machine to the OFF position.
Disconnect the harness from the knuckle connector that is located on the right side.
Measure the resistance between pin "B" and pin "F".Expected Result:The resistance is less than 5.0 ohms.Results:
YES - The resistance is less than 5.0 ohms. The machine harness is correct. Proceed to Test Step 5.
NO - The resistance is greater than 5000 ohms. The resistance measurement is not correct. There is an open circuit in the machine harness.Repair: The open is in wire T745-YL of the machine harness. Repair the machine harness or replace the machine harness.STOPTest Step 5. CHECK THE HARNESS FOR A SHORT.
Turn the key start switch and the disconnect switch for the machine to the OFF position.
Disconnect the harness from the knuckle connector that is located on the left side.
Measure the resistance between pin "B" and pin "F".Expected Result:The resistance is greater than 5000 ohms.Results:
YES - The resistance is greater than 5000 ohms. The machine harness is correct. Proceed to Test Step 6.
NO - The resistance is less than 5000 ohms. The resistance measurement is not correct. There is a short circuit in the machine harness.Repair: The short is in wire T748-PK of the machine harness. Repair the machine harness or replace the machine harness.STOPTest Step 6. CHECK IF THE DIAGNOSTIC CODE REMAINS.
Inspect the contacts of the harness connectors and clean the harness connectors.
Reconnect all harness connectors.
Turn the disconnect switch and the key start switch to the ON position.
Operate the machine.
Check the status of the "CB 24".Expected Result:The "CB 24" diagnostic code is active.Results:
YES - The "CB 24" diagnostic code is active. The diagnostic code has not been corrected. Repair:
