The rotor speed switch selects the speed of the rotor on revolutions per minute (rpm).Move the switch to 115 rpm in order to select the lowest speed of the rotor.Move the switch to 160 rpm in order to select the medium speed of the rotor.Move the switch to 215 rpm in order to select the highest speed of the rotor.Note: The rotor speed is now controlled by a computer. The computer will only allow starting in first gear. Upshifting of rotor speeds is allowed only with the engine at idle. Before you shut off the rotor and when the machine is at the idle position, you should always downshift to the first rotor speed. This process will increase the life of the rotor brake pads.Note: Do not shut off the rotor at full throttle. Only shut off the rotor if an emergency situation arises.
