Use Tool (A) (not shown) in order to remove retaining ring (10) from stem assembly (9) .

Note: Retaining ring (10) is spring loaded.
Remove retaining ring (10), retainer (11), spring (12), retainer (13), and ball (14) from stem assembly (9) .
Repeat Steps 7 and 8 for the remaining side of stem assembly (9) .

Remove elbow (15) and the O-ring seal from cover (16) .
Sudden release of spring force can cause injury.To prevent the possibility of injury, follow the procedure to relieve the spring pressure.
Note: Cover (16) is spring loaded.
Remove four bolts (17) that secure cover (16) to body (3) .
Repeat Step 11 in order to remove the cover on the remaining side of body (3) .

Remove cover (18), rectangular seal (19), dowel (20), and spring (21) from body (3) .
Remove stem (22), rectangular seal (23), and cover (16) from body (3) .

Remove relief valve (24) from body (3) .

Remove screw (25) and nut (26) from relief valve (24) .Note: Count the number of rotations when screw (25) is removed in order to set the proper relief pressure during installation.
Remove O-ring seal (27), backup ring (28), and O-ring seal (29) from relief valve (24) .

Remove plug (30) from body (3) .

Remove two plugs (35) and (36) and the O-ring seals from body (3) .
