Procedure to retrofit D10 (84W1-Up) and D11N (74Z1-623) Tractors
Illustration 1. D10 (84W1-Up) and D11N (74Z1-623) Tractors.This configuration utilizes through holes, two long bolts and two short bolts.
1. Remove two 3K-0581 Bolts and replace with two 3K-3183 Bolts (1). When assembling, use one 7X-0525 Washer (2) under each 3K-3183 Bolt head.2. Install two 7X-0525 Washers (2) under the nuts that are located next to the yoke. Some later machines will already have 3K-3183 Bolts. The exact serial number for that change is unknown, but is below 74Z623.3. Reusing the shorter 4D-8317 Bolts (3), install one 7X-0525 Washer (2) under head of each bolt, next to the cap.4. Install two 7X-0525 Washers (2) under the nuts that are located next to the yoke.5. Tighten the nuts to a torque of 750 90 N m (555.00 66.60 lb ft).6. Repeat this procedure for both cylinders. 1. Reusing the 7X-0394 Bolts (4), install one 7X-0525 Washer (2) under the head of each bolt, next to the cap.2. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 750 90 N m (555.00 66.60 lb ft).3. Repeat this procedure for both cylinders.Procedure to retrofit D9L (14Y1-Up) Tractors and D10N (2YD1-986) Tractors

1. Reusing the longer 4D-8317 Bolts (5), install one 7X-0525 Washer (2) under the head of each bolt located next to cap.2. Install one 7X-0525 Washer (2) under each nut located next to the yoke.3. Reusing the shorter 3K-3112 Bolts (6), install one 7X-0525 Washer (2) under the head of each bolt located next to the cap.4. Install one 7X-0525 Washer (2) under the nuts located next to the yoke.5. Tighten the nuts to a torque of 620 80 N m (458.80 59.20 lb ft).6. Repeat this procedure for both cylinders.Procedure to retrofit D10N (2YD987-Up) Tractors

1. Reuse the 7X-0394 Bolts (7).2. Remove any current washers so there is just the new washer.3. Install one 7X-0525 Washer (2) under the head of each bolt.4. Tighten the nuts to a torque of 620 80 N m (458.80 59.20 lb ft).5. Repeat this procedure for both cylinders.
