Configuration
The thermocouple module will remain fully functional during single set point configuration and also during communications on the data link.
Even if the communication link is terminated, the thermocouple module will continue to operate normally.
All configured values and error codes are stored in non-volatile memory. Non-volatile memory allows retention of all parameter values and error codes when the thermocouple module is de-energized.
The thermocouple module is configured on the secondary data link (CAN2). Configuration is accomplished by using the Cat Service Tool to configure any parameter that can be changed.Table 4 lists the configuration parameters for the thermocouple inputs.
