Installation Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Put blocks (5) in position on the dowels in the front roller frame.
Fasten a hoist to idler (1). Put idler (1) in position in the blocks.
Install shims (4) between the front roller frame and blocks (5) .
Align hole (6) in the idler shaft with the pins in caps (2). Install caps (2) and bolts (3). Tighten bolts (3) to a torque of 270 N m 25 N m (200.0 lb ft 18.0 lb ft).End By: Connect the tracks. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Track - Connect".
