Transmission Oil Cooler is located on the left side of the engine
(1) Engine oil cooler

(7) BonnetEngine coolant from the water pump flows through bonnets (2) and (3) to transmission oil cooler (5). The coolant flows through long tubes inside the oil cooler to bonnet (7). The coolant then flows through bonnet (7) to the engine cylinder block.Transmission oil flows from the torque converter outlet to the transmission oil cooler (5). This oil flows through oil cooler inlet (4) to the inside of the transmission oil cooler (5). In this procedure, heat is removed from the oil and the heat is transferred to the coolant in the tubes. The engine coolant is then cooled by the cooling system of the engine.After the oil flows around the tubes, the oil flows to the other end of the oil cooler. The oil then flows out of the oil cooler through oil cooler outlet (6). This oil has a lower temperature than the inlet oil. The oil now flows through line (4) in order to lubricate the planetary group.
