Install fittings and check valve fitting as shown in Illustration 6. The arrow on check valve group (4) must point up towards elbow (3) .

Install hose assembly (6) between two new elbows (3) .

Reinstall the two hoses from Step 4.a between swivel tees (2) and new motor (7). Connect a hose from top tee (2) to elbow (1) at the top motor port "A". Connect a hose from bottom tee (2) to elbow (1) at the bottom of the motor at port "B" .
For the BP18 Broom, perform the following steps:

Remove two hoses from tee fittings at location (F) and (G) .

Install fittings and check valve fitting as shown in Illustration 10. The arrow on check valve group (4) must point down towards swivel tee (2) .

For the BP18 (New Left Motor): If installing a new motor on the left side, reinstall the two hoses from Step 5.a between swivel tees (2) and new motor (7). Connect a hose from top tee (2) to elbow (1) at the bottom port "B" of motor (7). Connect a hose from bottom tee (2) to elbow (1) at the top port "A" of motor (7)

For BP18 (Old Left Motor): If the old motor on the left side is still functional and not being upgraded, then reinstall the two hoses from Step 5.a. Install the hoses between swivel tees (2) and the old motor. Connect a hose from top tee (2) to the front motor port with the tall elbow. Connect a hose from bottom tee (2) to the rear motor port with the short elbow.

For BP18 (New Right Motor): If installing a new motor on the right side, reinstall the two hoses that were disconnected in Step 1 between the tube elbows and new motor (7). Connect a hose from the top tube elbow to elbow (1) at the bottom port "A" for the motor. Connect a hose from the bottom tube elbow to elbow (1) at the top port "B" for the motor.
For BP18 (Old Right Motor): If the old motor on the right side is still functional and not being upgraded, then reinstall the two hoses from Step 1 in the original locations. Connect a hose from the top tube elbow to the rear motor port with the short elbow. Connect a hose from the bottom tube elbow to the front motor port with the tall elbow.
