Information:

Machine Preparation
Clear all personnel from the machine and from the area around the machine.
Start the engine.

Engine speed dial
Set the engine speed dial at "10".
Lower the left console.
Position the machine on level ground. Check the visibility and adjust the mirrors for the best vision close to the machine.
Lower the stabilizers and the blade tip.
Increase the hydraulic oil temperature to 46 to 80° C (115 to 176° F).
Fully extend the bucket cylinder and place the bucket on the ground.
Stop the engine.
Release the pressure in the hydraulic system.Note: Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "System Pressure - Release".
Raise the left console.

The pressure tap is located in the battery compartment.
Connect tooling (B2) 3,445 kPa (500 psi) pressure sensor to the pilot pressure tap.
Start the engine.

Power mode control button located on the soft panel switch
Push down on the power mode control button in order to activate power mode.Note: The indicator light will be illuminated when power mode is activated.
Lower the left console.

Automatic Engine Speed Control (AESC) as displayed on the programmable function key in the monitor.
Disable the automatic engine speed control through the monitor by pressing the programmable button.

Joystick (front switch)
Disable the hydraulic modulation control, if equipped. Press the front switch on the right joystick in order to deactivate hydraulic modulation.
The air conditioning should be turned off for the following test.Test and Adjust Procedure

Engine speed dial
Set the engine speed dial at "10".
Check the pressure at the pilot pressure tap.Note: Refer to Table 2 in this manual for the correct pressure.

Pilot manifold (1) Pilot relief valve (2) Locknut (3) Adjustment screw
If the pilot pressure is not correct, loosen locknut (2) .
Turn adjustment screw (3) clockwise in order to increase the pilot pressure. Turn adjustment screw (3) counterclockwise in order to decrease the pilot pressure.Note: The pressure will increase by approximately 250 kPa (36 psi) when the adjustment screw is turned by 1 turn.Note: Make the final pressure adjustments on the pressure rise.
Tighten locknut (2) to the specified torque.Worksheet
