1. Loosen bolt (1) until there is approximately 3.18 mm (.125 in) clearance between washer (2) and crankshaft vibration damper (3).2. Install Tool (A) as shown. Loosen crankshaft vibration damper (3) from the crankshaft.3. Remove Tool (A), bolt (1) and washer (2). When installing bolt (1), tighten to a torque of 284 to 340 N m (210 to 250 lb ft). Hit the bolt head with a hammer and tighten the bolt again to a torque of 284 to 340 N m (210 to 250 lb ft).4. Remove crankshaft vibration damper (3). For installation of the crankshaft vibration damper, reverse the removal steps.
