When the suspension is lowered clearances between the machine frames and suspension components are reduced.Persons on or near the machine could be injured by crushing.Keep all personnel clear of the machine until the suspension has been lowered.
The suspension system is purged by repeatedly raising and lowering the suspension.
Ensure that the machine is parked on a level surface. Move the parking brake control to the ENGAGED position.
Start the engine.

Valve (1) and valve (2) are located behind the tank for the hoist and brake system. The valves are located on the left side of the machine.

Valve (3) and valve (4) are located behind the tank for the steering system. The valves are located on the right side of the machine.

Valve (3) and valve (4) on the right side of the machine.
Open valve (1) until the suspension cylinder on the left side of the machine is fully extended.
Close valve (1) .
Open valve (4) until the suspension cylinder on the right side of the machine is fully extended.
Close valve (4) .
Open valve (2) until the suspension cylinder on the left side of the machine is fully retracted.
Close valve (2) .
Open valve (3) until the suspension cylinder on the right side of the machine is fully retracted.
Close valve (3) .
Repeat steps 3 through 10 five times.
Set the suspension. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Suspension System - Check/Adjust".
