D379, D398 and D399 Industrial, Marine and Generator Set Engines Equipped With Hydramechanical ShutoffsDescription of Change: A new oil pressure gauge group is now available for use on the above engines that are equipped with shutoff control groups (hydramechanical). This new group will permit resilient (flexible) mounting of the oil pressure gauge. The former group had a rigid mounting which permitted vibrations from the engine to go to the oil pressure gauge. These vibrations can damage the gauge after a period of time.
Adaptable As: The new parts are adaptable to all D379, D398 and D399 Industrial, Marine and Generator Set Engines. The new parts can be installed as shown in the illustration.
