Side of Machine With Rear Access Door Open (1) Conveyor motor (2) Planetary assembly (3) Conveyor drive chain (4) Tension adjustment boltThe conveyor motor (1) is located near the rear bulkhead. The left side of the machine is equipped with a conveyor motor and the right side of the machine is equipped with a conveyor motor (shown). The conveyor motors are identical. The side doors on either side of the machine provide access to the conveyor motors. Conveyor motor (1) is a piston type motor with a fixed displacement. The conveyor motors have a displacement of 44 cc (2.7 cubic inch) per revolution. The output shaft of the motor is splined to planetary assembly (2). The planetary assembly drives conveyor drive chain (3) which drives the conveyor. Tension adjustment bolt (4) can be used to adjust chain tension.

Rear of Machine (5) Left tension adjustment bolt (6) Right tension adjustment bolt (7) Left auger motor (8) Left planetary assembly (9) Right planetary assembly (10) Right auger motorLeft auger motor (7) and right auger motor (10) are mounted to the rear of the tractor. These motors are identical. Auger motors (7) and (10) are piston type motors with fixed displacement. The auger motors have a displacement of 35 cc (2.1 cubic inch) per revolution. The output shaft of each motor is splined to planetary assembly (8) and (9). The planetary assemblies drive a chain which drives the augers. The auger drive chain is located inside the chain drive box. Tension adjustment bolts (5) and (6) can be used to adjust chain tension.

Material Feed Motors (11) Cylinder block (12) Piston (13) Slipper pads (14) Swashplate (15) Output shaft (16) Valve plateNote: The material feed motors do not have a flushing valve. Instead, some oil is diverted from the reverse circuit into the motor case drain. When an auger or conveyor is operating, supply oil from the corresponding pump enters the motor. Supply oil is directed to the inlet port of valve plate (16). The valve plate directs oil into the piston chamber in cylinder block (11). This pressure forces pistons (12) which are aligned with the inlet port to move out of the cylinder block. As the pistons are forced out of the cylinder block, slipper pads (13) slide along swashplate (14), causing cylinder block (11) and pistons (12) to rotate. Since the cylinder block is splined to output shaft (15), the output shaft also rotates. As cylinder block (11) rotates, pistons (12) align with the outlet port in valve plate (16) and continued rotation of the cylinder block forces oil out of the piston chambers and into the low pressure side of the hydrostatic loop. Low pressure oil is returned to the inlet side of the hydraulic pump, completing the hydrostatic circuit.
