Undercarriage maintenance represents a major portion of the cost of owning and operating track-type earth moving equipment. Therefore, undercarriage reconditioning is an important part in product support.The Undercarriage Reconditioning Guide will serve as a useful reference for developing and managing undercarriage reconditioning service. This guide has three major sections. The first section covers “methods and procedures” for service and reconditioning of the undercarriage. The remaining two sections contain information regarding “tools and equipment” and “facilities and equipment layout” for dealer undercarriage service programs.The undercarriage reconditioning guide provides an accumulation of information on servicing undercarriage components. As additional material becomes available or revised, updates are automatically mailed to Undercarriage Reconditioning Guide holders who renew the subscription annually.
