Release the hydraulic system pressure. Refer to the host machine Disassembly and Assembly, "Hydraulic System Pressure - Release".

Vacuum cap
Remove the cap from the hydraulic tank and install Tooling (A). Attach an air supply hose onto Tooling (A). Apply 345 69 kPa (50 10 psi). This procedure will pull vacuum on the hydraulic system.

Install hose assembly (12) between the valve and the hydraulic tank. Refer to illustration 7.

Install hose assembly (11) between the solenoid valve and the main valve block. Refer to illustrations 8 for M318D and M322D machines. Refer to illustration 9 for M313D, M315D, and M316D machines.

Connect harness assembly (7) to the valve group. Refer to illustration 10.
Attach the ground wire to the valve group. Refer to illustration 10.

Mount the toggle switch (27) .

Disconnect the existing harness assembly (Y) from existing harness assembly (Z). These harness assemblies connect to switch (X) .
Install harness assembly (14) between harness assemblies (Y) and (Z) .
Install harness (16) to the harness assembly (14) at the yellow "308" wire.

Attach the two terminals with rings that are on harness assembly (16) to connections "2" and "3" on the toggle switch.
Attach the remaining two terminals of harness assembly (16) to harness assembly (7) .

Purge the air from the hydraulic lines of the coupler. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Air Purge" for more information.
