Install Tooling (D) in the last track shoe which is near the sprocket.
Put Tooling (D) on the sprocket segment, as shown.
Start the machine. Move the sprocket forward until the track is pulled up on the sprocket. The end of the track will be forward of a vertical line through the center of the sprocket. Remove Tooling (D) .

Install Tooling (C) between the last track shoe and the bushing, as shown. Slowly Move the sprocket in a forward direction. Use Tooling (C) as a guide in order to put the track in position over the carrier roller and the front idler.

Install Tooling (D) in both last track shoes and connect the hook and the chain together.
Position the ends of the master link so that it can be pulled under the track roller frame without being damaged.
Start the machine. Move the sprocket forward until the master link is just below a horizontal line through the center of the sprocket.

Put Tooling (B) under the last track shoe at the lower end of the track, as shown. Move the sprocket backward until the two links can be assembled. Remove Tooling (D) .

Put 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound on the threads, the body and the washer face of bolts (6) for the master link. Put master shoe (7) in position on the master links. Install bolts (6). Tighten bolts (6) to a torque of 340 70 N m (251 52 lb ft). Tighten bolts (6) to an additional turn of 180 5 degrees.

Install cover assembly (5) on the track roller frame. Install bolts (4) and the washers.

Install guard assembly (1) on the track roller frame. Install bolts (3), bolts (2), and the washers.End By: Adjust the tracks. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Track - Adjust" for the machine that is being serviced.
