(1) Test Port
Install tooling (A) to each Test Port (1).Test Procedure
Permit only one operator on the machine. Keep all other personnel away from the machine or in sight of the operator.
Keep the area around the machine clear of personnel while performing test procedures. During the test procedure the transmission output yokes may turn.
Start the engine. Hydraulic oil temperature should be between 30oC (86oF) and 50oC (122oF).Note: Driveshaft will move in this step. Ensure that all personnel are away from the machine.
Illustration 45 g06209599
Range 2 button on the Keypad Buttons console in the cab
Place the machine in range 2 and raise engine speed to 1100 RPM.
Release the park brake and toggle the FNR switch forward and reverse. The FNR switch should toggle from each direction 3 times, rotating the transmission output yokes in each direction 3 times.
Move FNR switch to neutral and engage park brake. Ensure that the park brake light is on.
Increase engine speed to "HIGH IDLE".
Read pressure at ports (1). Pressures should be within 27.5 kPa (4 psi) of each other and between 103 kPa (15 psi) and 240 kPa (35 psi).If the machine is cold, the pressure may be slightly higher. Check condition of the gauges if the pressure difference is greater than 27.5 kPa (4 psi).Note: The park brake should be engaged and the park brake light illuminated on the dash during this check.
Disengage the park brake and ensure that the park brake light is off.
Check the gauges in test ports (1). The pressures should read between 125 kPa (18 psi) and 310 kPa (45 psi). The pressure difference should be less than 145 kPa (21 psi).
If pressure difference is greater than 145 kPa (21 psi), perform the following procedure:

Adjustment Screw (2)
Loosen the controller adjustment screw lock nut.
Slowly rotate the adjustment screw in either direction until the pressure difference is zero.
Once the pressure difference is zero, hold the adjustment screw and tighten the lock nut.
Check the pressure difference again to ensure that the pressure did not change while tightening.
Perform Steps 1 through 8 to verify if the pressure setting is correct after adjustment.
If the pressure setting is correct, remove tooling (A).Hydrostatic Motor 1 Minimum Displacement Setting Check
Specification
Table 16
Motor 1 Minimum Displacement Setting
Measurement Of Exposed Threads 16 mm (0.63 inch) Introduction
The purpose of this check is to verify or set the minimum displacement setting of hydrostatic motor 1.Machine Preparation
Move the machine to a smooth, horizontal location that is away from operating machines and away from personnel.
Place the transmission direction in the NEUTRAL position.
Engage the parking brake. Place wheel blocks in front of the wheels and behind the wheels.
Lower the bucket or the work tool to the ground.
Stop the engine.
