Remove the mounting bracket. Refer to Service Manual, "Mounting Bracket - Remove and Install".
Remove the gerotor motor. Refer to Service Manual, "Gerotor Motor - Remove".
Hot oil and components can cause personal injury.Do not allow hot oil or components to contact skin.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before operating any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.After collecting all fluids in suitable containers, dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

When possible, position the work tool upright. The work tool should only be positioned in this manner on a solid, level surface. If a solid level surface is not available, lay the work tool on a side.

Remove the two bolts and the washers that secure lock (1) to the lower housing. Remove the lock from the work tool.
Remove the six bolts and the washers that secure lock plate (2) to the swivel. Remove the lock plate.

Remove the eight bolts, the washers, and the four half flanges that secure two hydraulic hoses (3) to swivel (4). Remove the two O-ring seals from the hoses.

Rotate the upper housing so the mounting for the gerotor motor is at the bottom. Attach Tooling (A), appropriate lifting chains, and a hoist to upper housing (5). The weight of the hydraulic rotator is 515 kg (1135 lb).

Remove 24 bolts (6) and the washers that secure hydraulic rotator (7) to lower housing (8). Some of the bolts must be removed from the inside of the lower housing. Remove the rotator from the work tool.

Remove ring (9) from rotator (7) .
Place the rotator on a clean, solid surface and remove Tooling (A) .
