Information:
1. Fasten a hoist to the axle housing as shown. Remove bolts and nuts (1). Remove the axle housing and spacer as a unit. Weight is 720 lb. (329 kg).
Do not let the spacer fall from the axle housing.
2. Install two bolts (4) from back side of frame. Use two men to install spacer (2) on the bolts as shown.3. Fasten a hoist and put axle housing (3) in position on the spacer. Put 2P2506 Lubricant on the faces of the washers and the threads of the bolts that hold the axle housing in place. Install all the bolts with the heads of the bolts out. Tighten the nuts to a torque of 350 15 lb.ft. (470 20 N m).end by:a) install brake camshafts and slack adjustersb) install brake shoesc) install wheel, bearings and seals
