WIRE A 9X1315 - Caterpillar

1. Disconnect all tube assemblies (3) from transmission filters (1) and (2).2. Disconnect all hose assemblies (4) from transmission filters (1) and (2).3. Disconnect wires (5) from transmission filter (2).4. Remove the transmission filters from the machine. The following steps are for installation of the transmission filters5. Put transmission filters (1) and (2) in position on the machine, and install the bolts that hold them.6. Connect hose assemblies (4) to transmission filters (1) and (2).7. Connect wires (5) to transmission filter (2).8. Connect tube assemblies (3) to transmission filters (1) and (2).9. Fill the transmission with oil to the correct level. 1. Remove the transmission filter elements. See the Maintenance Guide.2. Put against retainer (1) to compress spring (2). Remove retaining ring (4), retainer (1) and spring (2) from tube (3) of the housing assembly.3. Remove plug (8), spool (5) and sprig (6) from bore (7). Remove the O-ring seal from the plug (8). The following steps are for the assembly of the transmission filter.4. Install O-ring seal on plug (8). Put spring (6) and spool (5) in position in bore (7), and install plug (8).5. Put spring (2) and retainer (1) in position on tube (3), and install retaining ring (4) to hold them.6. Install the transmission filter elements. See the Maintenance Guide.
