Cap hydraulic oil line (3) to the drag conveyor motor with a 2.54 cm (1 inch) cap and plug.
Start the engine and run the engine at high idle.
Engage the parking brake.
Move the right side auger auto/manual control and the right side feeder auto/manual control from the OFF position to the MAN position. Observe the pressure gauge.
The pressure setting for the right side conveyor pump should be 27600 kPa (4000 psi).Note: The pressure setting may need to be moved from the OFF position to the MAN position several times in order to ensure an accurate pressure gauge reading.
If the pressure is not correct, the pressure compensator valve needs to be adjusted.
Stop the engine.

On right conveyor pump (5), loosen locknut (8) for the pressure compensator adjustment. Turn screw (6) for the pressure compensator adjustment clockwise in order to increase the pressure. Turn screw (6) for the pressure compensator adjustment counterclockwise in order to decrease the pressure. After the adjustment is made, tighten locknut (8) .
Repeat Step 3 through Step 5.
If the pressure is correct, stop the engine. Remove the test equipment.
If pressure is not correct, repeat Step 8 and Step 9.
When pressure is correct, stop the engine. Remove the test equipment.
Move to the left side conveyor system and repeat Step 1 through Step 13.Adjustment for the Differential Pressure

Use the hydraulic hose and the female fitting in order to attach the 1U-5796 Pressure Differential Gauge Group to pressure taps (1) and (2) on the right control valve.
Start the engine and run the engine at high idle.
Engage the parking brake.

Raise feeder control paddle (3) until auger (4) is running at 75 RPM with the engine at high idle (2350 RPM).
Use a 1U-6602 Tachometer and a piece of reflective tape in order to check the auger speed.
Observe the differential pressure gauge. The pressure reading should be 1000 35 kPa (145 5 psi).Note: When the pressure differential fluctuates, this indicates that air is in the system. If this is noticed, perform the Testing and Adjusting, "Conveyor Hydraulic System Air - Purge" procedure in this manual.
