See the article that follows.Reference: Special Instruction, REHS1173, "Improvements to the Equalizer Bar"Description of Change: The new remote lubrication provides constant lubrication to the end pins of the equalizer bar. The remote lubrication system has a lubrication tank that supplies oil to the lines which lubricate the end pins.Also, the remote lubrication system is a diagnostic tool. Low oil levels in the lubrication tank indicate problems or damage to the bearings, seals, or lines. These components should be inspected and corrective action should be taken. Advance warning allows maintenance to be scheduled.Adaptable To: Remote lubrication is effective with D10R (S/N: 3KR1844-UP) and D11R (S/N: AAF184-UP; 7PZ562-UP) Track-Type Tractors. Remote lubrication is adaptable to D10R (S/N: 3KR1-1843) and D11R (S/N: AAF1-183; 7PZ1-561) Track-Type Tractors. Equalizer bars that have built-in holes for remote lubrication were shipped on D10R (S/N: 3KR1725-UP), D11R (S/N: 7PZ502-UP) and D11R Carrydozer (S/N: AAF169-UP) Track-Type Tractors.Refer to Special Instruction, REHS1173, "Improvements to the Equalizer Bar" for installation instructions.Check the oil level in the lubrication tank on a daily basis or every 10 service hours.
