Move power switch (2) to OFF.Continuously hold the AUTO/MAN/SURVEY (CAL) switch (1) down to SURVEY (CAL).Move the power switch to GRADE.Turn the grade adjustment knob (3) clockwise one click.Release the AUTO/MAN/SURVEY (CAL) switch. Turn the grade adjustment knob to set the gain (elevation) to 25 percent.Hold the AUTO/MAN/SURVEY (CAL) switch to SURVEY (CAL) while turning the grade adjustment knob clockwise two clicks.Release the AUTO/MAN/SURVEY (CAL) switch. Turn the grade adjustment knob until the desired units appear.Hold the AUTO/MAN/SURVEY (CAL) switch to SURVEY (CAL) while turning the grade adjustment knob clockwise two clicks.Release the AUTO/MAN/SURVEY (CAL) switch. Turn the grade adjustment knob to set the beeper ON or OFF as desired.Hold the AUTO/MAN/SURVEY (CAL) switch while turning the grade adjustment knob clockwise two clicks.Release the AUTO/MAN/SURVEY (CAL) switch. Turn the grade adjustment knob to set the deadband to 3 mm.Hold the AUTO/MAN/SURVEY (CAL) switch while turning the grade adjustment knob clockwise one click.Release the AUTO/MAN/SURVEY (CAL) switch. The hydraulic oil must be at operating temperature before the valve offset is adjusted. The engine must be running at HI IDLE.1. Move the AUTO/MAN/SURVEY (CAL) switch to SURVEY (CAL) and immediately release.2. Turn the grade adjustment knob counterclockwise to 0.3. Turn the grade adjustment knob clockwise until the grade control cylinder just starts to rise. (This setting is the optimum for the raise function.)4. Move the AUTO/MAN/SURVEY (CAL) switch to SURVEY (CAL) and immediately release.5. Turn the grade adjustment knob counterclockwise to 0.6. Turn the grade adjustment knob clockwise until the grade control cylinder just starts to lower. (This setting is the optimum for the lower function.)Hold the AUTO/MAN/SURVEY (CAL) switch while turning the grade adjustment knob clockwise one click. Release the AUTO/MAN/SURVEY (CAL) switch. The screen will be blank.Move the AUTO/MAN/SURVEY (CAL) switch to SURVEY (CAL) and release. (This exits the performance setting menu.)Move the AUTO/MAN/SURVEY (CAL) switch to AUTO. The grade correction display shows ON GRADE.Set the Grade Height (Automatic Method)
1. Block the screed to the desired height. Since the mat compacts during rolling, the blocks should be 20 to 25 percent thicker than the finished mat.2. Set the desired angle of attack.3. Move power switch (3) to GRADE.4. Move AUTO/MAN/SURVEY (CAL)
