During assembly, inspect the following components for any foreign materials: the front face of the flywheel housing, the two sides of the flywheel housing gasket and the rear face of the cylinder block. These components must be free of the following substances: oil, fuel, water, adhesive, assembly compounds, and any foreign materials. Apply ultra blue Loctite 587 to fill the space between the cylinder block, the flywheel housing, and the oil pan. The components must be assembled within 10 minutes of applying the sealant.    
1     9     7K-6058 Bolt     Use the following tightening procedure to tighten the bolts for the flywheel housing:
1. Tighten bolt 1 to bolt 9 in a numerical sequence as shown in Illustration 2 to
100 20 N m (75 15 lb ft).
2. Tighten bolt 10 to bolt 24 in a numerical sequence as shown in Illustration 2 to
40 10 N m (30 7 lb ft).
3. Again, tighten bolt 1 to bolt 9 in a numerical sequence as shown in Illustration 2 to
135 20 N m (100 15 lb ft).
4. Tighten bolt 10 to bolt 24 in a numerical sequence as shown in Illustration 2 to
55 10 N m (41 7 lb ft).
