1-Body. 2-Flange. 3-Drive gear. 4-Idler gear. 5-Back-up ring. 6-Pressure plate. 7-Isolation plate (round edge). 8-Isolation plate (square edge). 9-Ring retainer. 10-Dowell. 11-Capscrew. 12-Seal. 13-Snap ring. 14-O-ring (2). 15-O-ring (body). 16-Washer. 17-Steel ring.1. Thoroughly clean the outside of the pump.
FIG. 12. Securely fasten the pump, shaft end up, in a vise. Fig. 1. Use clean pieces of wood between the flats and the jaws of the vise.3. Remove all capscrews from the flange.4. Coat the shaft with clean grease. This will help prevent damage to the rubber lips of the seal during flange removal.
