Unexpected machine movement can cause injury or death when adjusting the bucket stop bumper.Install the bucket control group safety pins and stop the engine prior to making any adjustments.Engage the parking brake and block the wheels to prevent sudden movement of the machine.Keep unauthorized personnel off the machine.

Weld 9EP7764 Mounting Plate (1) in position. Weld 9EP0608 Mounting Plate (2) in position.

Weld a 9EP7763 Stop (4) in position on lift arm assembly (3). Refer to Illustration 2.

Install 9EQ0247 Bumper (8) in position. Refer to Illustration 3.

9EQ0247 Bumper (G) 0 mm (0 inch) (H) 10 mm (0.39 inch) (4) 9EP7763 Stop (5) 9EP7416 Shim (6) 9EP7765 Shim (8) 9EP0247 Bumper Note: Before starting the following procedure, ensure that the bucket stops are not worn or damaged.Note: Use the following procedure to adjust the bucket stop bumper.
Grind the surface of 9EP7763 Stops (4) in order to achieve a full contact with 9EQ0247 Bumpers (8) .
Illustration 4 shows the correct bumper setup. Dimension (G) should be zero when Dimension (H) is 10 mm (0.39 inch).
With the engine running at low idle, move the joystick control to the TILT BACK position until 9EQ0247 Bumpers (8) just contact 9EP7763 Stops (4) at Dimension (G). Stop the engine.
Adjust with 9EP7416 Shims (5) and 9EP7765 Shims (6) as required until Dimension (H) is 10 mm (0.39 inch).
Repeat Step 6 to ensure the dimensions at (G) and (H) are the same as shown in Illustration 4.
