Separate the track.
When you are using hydraulic cylinders and puller studs, always ensure that the rated capacity of the puller stud meets or exceeds the rated capacity of the hydraulic cylinder. If the puller stud does not meet or exceed the rated capacity of the hydraulic cylinder, a sudden failure of the puller stud could occur. The sudden failure of the puller stud could result in personal injury or death.

Install Tooling (A) under the front of the machine to raise the machine. Install Tooling (B) to support the machine. Remove Tooling (A).

Install Tooling (C) under the rear of the machine. Raise the machine until the bottom of the track roller frame is away from the track.

Remove the bolts and guard assembly (1). Repeat for the guard assembly on the other side of the track roller frame.
Remove the bolts, cover (2), and the O-ring seal.

Remove the bolts and guard assemblies (3).

Attach Tooling (D), Tooling (E), and a suitable lifting device to track roller frame (4). The weight of track roller frame (4) is approximately 1000 kg (2205 lb). Remove bolts (5) and plate (6).
Remove bolt (8). Use Tooling (F) to remove pin assembly (7).
Remove track roller frame (4).

Remove seal (9) from pivot shaft (10).

Remove bushings (11) and (12) from track roller frame (4).Installation Procedure
Install track roller frame (4) in the reverse order of removal.
Lubricate seal (9) with the lubricant that is being sealed. Install seal (9) on pivot shaft (10) with the tapered edge toward the machine.
Use Tooling (G) to install bushings (11) and (12).
Fill the pivot shaft housing with oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Pivot Shaft Oil Level - Check".
