The version 3.0 design includes the following external changes:
Replacing paper air filters with metal air filters (allows for cleaning and reuse)
External access to air filters (doors are not required to be open to access the air filters)

The version 3.0 design includes the following internal changes:
Flywheel design
Flywheel bearing upgraded to Elastomeric Vibration Dampening design
Flywheel speed sensor upgraded to optical rotation position sensor design
AC filter capacitor
Power supply capacitors to improve reliability
Fan plenum to provide better air cooling
Upgrade of product firmware to improve performance
The K1, K2, and K3 contactors changed to alternate designRefer to Illustration 2 for the location of the contactors.
