Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the fan guard. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fan Guard - Remove and Install".

Loosen two nuts (3) on threaded rod (2) in order to release the tension on V-belt (1) .

Loosen bolt (6) that secures the bottom of alternator (4). Remove the bolt and nut (5) from the top of alternator (4). Remove bolt (7) and remove guard assembly (8). Replace bolt (7) .
Remove the V-belt from alternator (4) .

Use prybar (10) to rotate pulley (9) downward. Remove three V-belts (11) from pulley (9) .

Remove two bolts (12) that secure guard (13). Remove guard (13) .

Loosen three bolts (15) that secure refrigerant compressor (14) .

Loosen two nuts (16). Rotate refrigerant compressor (14) downward. Remove V-belt (17) .Installation Procedure

Install V-belt (17). Rotate refrigerant compressor (14) in order to tighten V-belt (17). Tighten two nuts (16) .

Tighten three bolts (15) that secure refrigerant compressor (14) .

Position guard (13) and install two bolts (12) .

Use a prybar (10) to rotate pulley (9) downward. Install three V-belts (11) .

Install the V-belt to alternator (4) .
Remove bolt (7). Install guard assembly (8) and replace bolt (7). Install the bolt and nut (5) to the top of alternator (4). Tighten bolt (6) that secures the bottom of alternator (4) .

Tighten two nuts (3) on threaded rod (2) in order to tighten V-belt (1) .End By: Install the fan guard. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fan Guard - Remove and Install".
