(A) 13.49 0.10 mm (0.531 0.004 inch) (B) 31.0 mm (1.22 inch) (C) 45.99 mm (1.811 inch)
Increase the width of the groove for the rod seal (A) from 10.49 0.10 mm (0.413 0.004 inch) to 13.49 0.10 mm (0.531 0.004 inch). This should be achieved by increasing each side by 1.5 mm (0.0591 inch).Note: The outside diameter of the groove for the rod seal should not be changed. The outside diameter of the groove for the rod seal should be 245.82 0.13 mm (9.678 0.005 inch). Ensure that no step is created in the outside diameter of the groove. The presence of a step will result in the failure of the U-Cup seal.
Deburr sides (D) of the groove for the rod seal.
The maximum chamfer (E) of the groove for the rod seal is 0.50 mm (0.020 inch) by 50 degrees.
