Machine Rollback Function
A rollback condition occurs when the ECM determines that the machine is attempting to accelerate from the stop position and the machine moves in the opposite direction before propelling in the desired direction. When the ECM detects a rollback has occurred, the ECM will increase the current flow to the appropriate solenoid in order to get the machine to propel in the proper direction.Neutral Start Function
The machine ECM monitors the position of the speed lever and the engine speed in order to determine if the machine is allowed to propel. If the speed lever is NOT in the NEUTRAL position when the engine is started, the machine ECM will not provide current to the forward and the reverse propel solenoids. The parking brake solenoid is de-energized, which will apply the parking brake. In order to allow the machine to propel, the speed lever must be placed in the NEUTRAL position and then to the FORWARD position or the REVERSE position.Panic Stop Function
The machine will decelerate and stop quickly when the operator selects the park brake switch or the operator applies the parking brake pedal with a quick rate of change. Runaway Function
When the operator requests that the machine is stopped and the machine does not decelerate below a certain speed in a specified amount of time an event identifier (EID) will be logged. When a runaway condition is detected the parking brake is applied.Straight Tracking Function
The ECM will make adjustments to the left and the right desired speeds in order to ensure that the machine tracks straight. The amount of adjustment will depend on if the machine is in a steady state or the machine is accelerating from a stop.
