Attach Tooling (A) to both bucket links (1) , as shown.

Attach Tooling (B) to both boom links (2) , as shown.
Place suitable cribbing under the tilt cylinder. Remove the hoist and lifting slings from the tilt cylinder.Note: E-pin (10) is a slip fit in the bores. Proper alignment of the links and of the tilt cylinder is important. Do not use excessive force to install E-pin (10) . Apply 5P-3931 Anti-Seize Compound to the bores for the E-pin in the boom links.
Use Tooling (A) , Tooling (B) , and the implement hydraulics in order to line up the bores for the E-pin.
Attach a suitable hoist and lifting slings to the E-pin. The E-pin weighs approximately 91 kg (200 lb).
Use the hoist in order to install the E-pin.

Install plate (9) to E-pin (10) .

Install plate (8) , bolts (7) , and the washers.
Install plate (6) , bolt (5) , and the washer to the E-pin.

Install plate (4) , the washer, and bolt (3) to the E-pin.
Tighten bolts (3) and (5) to a torque of 1600 200 N m (1200 150 lb ft).

Connect grease tube assembly (11) .
Add 5P-0960 Molybdenum Grease to the grease zerks until grease seeps from the lip seals.End By: Separate the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect" for the machine that is being serviced.Disassembly and Assembly
