Information:

J1 for the Motor ECM, connect a jumper wire between contact J1-66 (wire 6721-GN) and contact J1-67 (wire 6720-GY).
At the disconnected harness connector J2 for the Machine ECM, measure the resistance between contact J2-64 (wire 6721-GN) and contact J2-65 (wire 6720-GY).
While observing the resistance measurement, wiggle the machine harness connector for the Machine ECM and wiggle the machine harness connector for the Generator ECM. Gently pull on the wires and move the wires around.Expected Result:The resistance measurement is less than 5 ohms.Results:
OK - The resistance measurement is less than 5 ohms. The CAN B Data Link circuit in the machine harness is not open. Proceed to Test Step 2.
NOT OK - The resistance measurement is greater than 5 ohms. There is an open or a bad connection in the CAN B Data Link circuit in the machine harness.Repair: Refer to the complete machine Electrical System Schematic. Locate and examine all of the machine harness connections that are involved in the data
