Install the new O-rings seals, speed sensors (24), and the bolts (25) .

Install planetary assembly (14). Install new O-ring seals (22) and (23) .Note: Lubricate the seal with lubricant that is being sealed prior to the installation of planetary assembly (14) .

Attach a suitable lifting device and Tooling (H) to housing assembly (16). The weight of housing assembly (16) is approximately 50 kg (110 lb). Position housing assembly (16) and install bolts (17) .

Lubricate plates (20) and disc (21) with SAE 30 oil. Install friction disc (21) and plates (20). Install new O-ring seals (11) and (12) .Note: Take care not to damage the bore of the housing assembly.

Install new seals (19) on to piston (18) .Note: Lightly lubricate seals (19) with oil being sealed.

Use Tooling (M) in order to install piston (18). Install piston (18). Remove Tooling (M) .Note: Take care not to damage the outer surface of piston (18) .

Install spring (13) .

Attach Tooling (H) and a suitable lifting device to housing assembly (6). The weight of housing assembly (6) is approximately 79 kg (175 lb).Note: Make sure that the brake shuttle valve is in position and installed correctly.
Position housing assembly (6) and install bolts (7). Tighten bolts (7) evenly in order to load spring pressure. Install Tooling (N) .

Install Tooling (P) and Tooling (G). Attach Tooling (R) to part (32). Attach an air supply hose to Tooling (R). Apply 34.5 kPa (5 psi). This procedure will test for leaks. Spray the steering side housing joints with soapy water to identify leaks.Note: Motor cables can have minor air leakage through the cables. The leakage can be seen at the lugs of the cables.

Remove plug (33). Attach Tooling (S). Apply 1380 kPa (200 psi). Ensure that the pressure does not drop for 5 minutes.
Release pressure. Remove Tooling (S). Install plug (33) .
Remove all Tooling, except for (A), (B), and applied sealants.

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to the electric drive propulsion module. The weight of the electric drive propulsion module is approximately 1225 kg (2700 lb).
Remove the electric drive propulsion module from Tooling (B) .
Install the electric drive propulsion module. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, KENR5162, "Electric Drive Propulsion Module - Install".
