Bore in the valve rocker arm for rocker shaft is 40.065 0.015 mm (1.5774 0.0006 inch).
- - - Inlet valve lash setting is 0.38 0.08 mm (0.015 0.003 inch).
Exhaust valve lash setting is 0.76 0.08 mm (0.030 0.003 inch).

4 18 304-9553 Stud Use the following procedure in order to tighten the stud for the rocker arm:
Before assembly, apply black 4C-5592 Anti-Seize Compound to the threads and the under head of studs.
Refer Illustration 3 for stud tightening sequence.
1. Tighten the studs in a numerical sequence to 55 5 N m (41 4 lb ft).
2. Retighten the studs in a numerical sequence to 55 5 N m (41 4 lb ft).
3. Again, tighten all the studs to an additional angle in the numerical sequence to 60 5 degrees.
