Right side of the motor for the auger (5) Adjustment screwMotor (1) is a variable displacement bent axis motor. Motor manifold (2) has two crossover relief valves for the forward operation. Both relief valves (3) will vent oil from the forward circuit to the reverse circuit if the auger is stalled by an obstruction. Motor (1) has an adjustment screw (4) that controls the shift point of the motor. Adjustment screw (4) is located on the upper left side of motor (1). Motor (1) has an adjustment screw (5) that controls the speed of the motor. Adjustment screw (5) is located on the upper right side of motor (1).

Motor (1) has a combined condition that is both high speed and low torque. Motor (1) has a combined condition that is both low speed and high torque. Adjustment screw (5) is used to set the speed of motor (1). Turning the adjustment screw will increase the angle of motor (1). Two conditions will change when the angle of the motor is increased:
The speed of the motor decreases.
The torque of the motor increases.Pump oil enters motor (1) through the control valve (8). System pressure acts on charge valve (9). Charge valve (9) will direct oil through an internal passage to the center of servo piston (6). Pressurized oil holds the servo piston to the left. In this position, motor (1) is held at a minimum angle.

Oil is directed through the internal passage to the top side of the servo piston (6). Pressurized oil shifts servo piston (6) to the left. Motor (1) will upstroke in the position. As the motor upstrokes, less pressure is required to turn the auger. This is due to an increase in torque. The spring force moves charge valve (7) to the left. The oil on the right side of servo piston (6) is vented to the tank. Motor (1) returns to a minimum angle for fast speed.Adjustment screw (4) will set the pressure that is required in order to shift the motor. The pressure will lower when the adjustment screw is turned inward.
