Bowl Cylinder
Start the engine. Operate the machine until the hydraulic oil reaches normal operating temperature.
Make sure that the scraper bowl is empty. Stop the machine on a hard, level surface. Run the engine at high idle in neutral.
Lower the scraper bowl to the ground.
Raise the scraper bowl to the maximum height. The time that is needed to raise the scraper bowl to the maximum height is 2.5 seconds.If the cycle time is incorrect, check the following items:
Check the efficiencies of the hydraulic and steering pump.
Check the pressure setting of the main relief valve for the bowl and the ejector circuits.
Check the operation of the bowl valve stem in the scraper control valve.
Check the piston seals in the bowl cylinders.Ejector Cylinder
Start the engine. Operate the machine until the hydraulic oil reaches normal operating temperature.
Make sure that the scraper bowl is empty. Stop the machine on a hard, level surface. Run the engine at high idle in neutral.
Raise the scraper bowl approximately 152 mm (6 inch). Make sure that the floor is closed and that the ejector is returned completely.
Move the ejector control lever into the EJECT position. The time that is needed for the ejector to reach the fully ejected position is six to seven seconds.
Move the ejector control lever to RETURN position. The time that is needed for the ejector to reach the full return position is six to seven seconds.If the time is incorrect, check the following items:
Check the efficiencies of the hydraulic and steering pump.
Check the pressure setting of the main relief valve for the bowl and the ejector circuits.
Check the operation of the ejector valve stem in the scraper control valve.
Check the piston seals in the floor cylinder and ejector cylinder.
Check the floor check valve.
