Industrial Stick (If Equipped)
Use the following procedure for machines equipped with an industrial stick and a one-piece boom or a variable angle boom:

Apply grease through the grease fittings located at the stick nose.
Open the access door for the engine compartment on the right side of the machine.
Wipe all fittings before you apply lubricant.

Apply lubricant through the lowest grease fitting that is located in the engine compartment.Note: This fitting supplies grease to all linkage bearings from the frame to the nose of the boom. The valve is designed to give the proper amount of grease to all bearings. If the valve will not accept grease, one of the lines is blocked.Use Steps 4.a through 4.d to ensure proper lubrication.
Apply grease through the grease fitting while the boom is raised and the work tool is suspended.
Lower the boom and the work tool to the ground.
Apply a slight downward pressure on the work tool.
Apply grease through the grease fitting.Ditch Cleaning Bucket (If Equipped)
Use the following procedure for machines equipped with a ditch cleaning bucket:
Wipe all fittings before you apply lubricant.

Apply lubricant through the grease fittings.Offset Boom (If Equipped)
Wipe the remote grease fittings (1) before you apply lubricant.

Apply lubricant through the remote grease fittings (1) until grease is visible around pins and bearings.
