System Installation
To install the Cat® "Production Measurement Application", the following is required:
Enable Software Enabled Attachment (SEA). (Reference Special Instruction, SEHS0087, "Procedure for Software Enabled Attachments (SEA) of Cat Production Measurement (CPM) Application on Certain Excavators".)
Configure Machine Dimensions, except for bucket. (Required only if components are changed.)
Calibration of Front Position sensor. (Required only if components are changed.)
Calibration of Body sensor. (Required only if components are changed.)
Bucket Measure-Up. (See Bucket Measure-Up section of this manual for detailed information.)Note: The Cat® "Production Measurement Application" setup can be completed without setup of the Cat® "Grade Control" (CGC) system. If a setup of the CGC system is required, the following steps must be completed:
Calibration of CGC.
Completion of "Fine Tune" calibration.Note: For the CGC sensor calibration procedure, refer to Testing and Adjusting , UENR1725, "Testing and Adjusting Cat Grade Control Depth & Slope for E-Series and F Series Excavators".
