Press and hold both the "SERVICE" switch (1) and the "CLEAR" switch (2) .
Release the switches when "-5-" is showing in the display area (5) . At this time, transmission system indicator (4) flashes. Calibration mode is active when this indicator turns on. See the preceding topic To Enter Calibration Mode (mode 5).After calibration mode is first entered, the system enters the first submode 01 or 15. This depends on the state of the engine. The number that is showing on submode identifier (7) is the submode that is currently entered. The only submodes that can be accessed are the submodes that correspond to the current state of the engine. The Engine is OFF in submodes 01 through 12. The Engine is ON in submodes 15 through 23. See the preceding Calibration Submodes chart.
