new 6V4180 Off-Engine Lifter Setting Tool Group is a replacement for the 5P6600 Off-Engine Lifter Setting Tool Group which has been canceled. In addition to the tools in the former group, the new tool group has a 5P129 Sleeve and a 6V3035 Shaft Assembly.
Applications of the new tools in the 6V4180 Tool Group are:
... 5P129 Sleeve is used for 3204 Engines (45V) in D3 Tractors (6N, 79U, 82U, 83U), 910 Loaders (80U), and 931 Loaders (8N, 10N, 78U, 81U).
... 6V3035 Shaft is used for 3204 Engines.
... 6V3066 Shaft Assembly is used for 3304 Engines (9Z) and 3306 Engines (10Z) in some vehicular applications.
Some of the first 6V4180 Groups will have a 6V3066 Shaft Assembly. But, because of its limited application, this shaft assembly will be removed from the tool group. The 6V3066 Shaft Assembly will be available separately. There is storage space for this shaft assembly in the 6V4181 Tool Holder Block in the tool box.
The 9S8105 Liner is a replacement for the former 6V4182 (upper) Tool Holder Block which has been canceled.
Special Instruction, Form SMHS7130-03 gives complete instructions for the use of this new tool group. A new tool location chart, Form SEHS7856, is also available. These two publications are part of the new 6V4180 Tool Group.
