Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the crankshaft front seal.
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Disconnect harness assembly (4) from shut off solenoid (3).
Remove nut (2). Remove shut off solenoid (3) and the O-ring seal from front housing (1).

Remove bolts (9) and remove oil fill cover (6) and the gasket.
Remove bolts (8) and the washers. Remove nuts (5) and the washers from governor control cover (7).
Remove two springs (10) and remove governor control cover (7) and the gasket.

Remove 15 bolts (11) Marked X from front housing (1). Remove front housing (1) from the cylinder block. Remove the gasket.
