(6) Passage Oil from the lubrication section of the power train oil pump combines with flow over the main relief valve in passage (1). This combination provide lubrication for the transmission and bevel gear set. The oil going through passage (5) then flows through passage (6) to provide lubrication for the No. 3, No. 4, and No. 5 planetary gears, bearings, and clutches.Part of the oil in passage (1) flows through passage (2) to the transmission. This oil splits between passages (4) and (5). The oil going through passage (4) lubricates the No.1 and No. 2 planetary gears, bearing, and clutches.The rest of the oil in passage (1) flows through passage (3) to the bevel gear case. The oil flows through tubes to lubricate the bevel gear and pinion mesh/bearings as well as the transfer gear set.
